The Haven Project

The Haven
Project’s Mission

“Our mission is to equip and empower homeless or imminently homeless young adults with the skills and support they need to be safe and self-supporting.” The Haven Project is the only organization north of Boston dedicated specifically to providing age appropriate services to a growing, vulnerable 17-24 year old homeless young adult population.

The Haven Project was founded in 2011 to address a gap in services to unaccompanied homeless young adults north of Boston. In January 2016, The Haven Project opened it’s social enterprise, Land of A Thousand Hills Café, as a site for it’s job-training program. Annually,
The Haven Project serves over 220 clients each year and continues to develop programs to meet the growing and complex needs of the north of Boston homeless young adult population.

100% of the profits from Land of a Thousand Hills Cafe goes directly to The Haven Project. When you buy from A Land of a Thousand Hills in Lynn, not only are you are receiving coffee that is 100% Arabica, fairly traded, and roasted fresh – but your excellent morning cup is offering hope to local homeless youth with each purchase.
